The Edo State Hospital Management Agency (HMA) is excited to announce an upcoming event in collaboration with the Medical Women’s Association of Nigeria (MWAN) – a free medical screening at District Hospital Egba, Edo State. This initiative aims to provide essential healthcare services to residents of Egba and its surrounding communities, with a focus on promoting health awareness, early detection, and prevention.

During the free medical screening event, attendees will have the opportunity to receive a range of healthcare services and screenings, including but not limited to:
• General medical consultations
• Blood pressure and vital signs measurements
• Blood glucose testing
• Body mass index (BMI) assessments
• Vision and hearing screenings
• HIV/AIDS testing and counseling
• Health education and counseling on various health topics
Participating in the free medical screening event provides an opportunity for individuals to:
• Receive essential healthcare services and screenings at no cost

No pre-registration is required for the free medical screening event. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to ensure timely access to healthcare services. All services provided during the event are free of charge and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The safety and well-being of our attendees and staff are of utmost importance. In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, strict safety protocols will be observed during the event, including:
• Mandatory wearing of face masks
• Hand sanitization stations available throughout the venue
• Physical distancing measures in waiting areas and service areas
• Regular disinfection of equipment and surfaces
• Temperature checks upon entry
